no explaination! NOT EVEN A NOTE. We were very close growing up....he got married to a lovely woman (sarcasm) ....havent spoken to him that mch but still IT IS FAMILY and now they say no? I went to their wedding!...that is just annoying!
honestly if it is like close family at least an explaination in the rsvp or freaking call me!

I only have 2 cousins (that live in NY) on my moms side, both declined.... oh wait, one didn't even RESPOND... I went to bolth of their weddings... really puts things in perspective!!

Not even a note I have my best friends dad that couldn't make it and he at least put a note in why he can't make it. Thats jsut wrong no explanation.

this is true....just annoying....I wish my uncle was around...he passed when I was younger...he would be rolling in his grave!

I hear you. I got some 'no' responses from people I've known since I was a child, and I gave these people STD's last summer. Some with no note, some will be on vacation, etc.

I had the same things happen. Quite a few people who I would swear would come, sent back a 'no' with no explanation. It hurt.....

It does hurt. I got another today too. Then I opened a bottle of wine! I just wish I didn't take it so personally, but I can't help it. And I'm still waiting for 60 responses. Maybe I'll FH open the response cards from now on. I used to enjoy it.....

I have recieved explanations atleast on my RSVPs.....that is messed up that a close family member would never even send an explanation
