Vent: Our GM
Sooooo yesterday FH calls our OOT GM (He lives back in Ohio where FH is from) and asks him to please go get measured at the most convenient Men's Warehouse to him asap, as there is a sale we'd like to take advantage of and it ends Sunday.
Well...GM says maybe he shouldn't because he doesn't know if he can get the time off of work to come to the wedding.![]()
Okay....are you fckn serious????? This guy has known for OVER A YEAR about the wedding and he was the first guy that FH asked to be a GM. Plus...HE ONLY NEEDS ONE DAY OFF!!! He could fly in Friday night and since the wedding ends 8pm on Sunday he'd need to take Monday off. ONE DAY!!!
We should have heard nothing about this...the guy should have just taken the hit and taken a day without pay if he can't manage his vacation time well enough when he knew a year in advance!!! Obviously FH is not important enough to him that he would bother to plan ahead...
We will know for sure by tomorrow, but at this point I don't even want this guy standing up at our wedding...obviously he's a moron. I told FH he should tell him if he can make it to the wedding as a guest that we'd love to have him, but he'll take the pressure off of him by demoting him from GM. I can think of a couple of other guys who love us both and would never pull a stunt like this 3 MONTHS BEFORE THE G-DDAMN WEDDING!!!
