No issues at all with my family. We're all Irish, we all love to party and we all love to drink! They came to my brother's weddings in OH and PA, but not to mine.

I just don't understand. You and your FH are just beautiful! And you have this amazing attitude - compassionate and sweet and upbeat. I would think people would literally be falling over themselves to get to your wedding!

You should tell them - listen, NY weddings are MUCH better than PA and OH weddings!

I wish there were something I could do to help! And if there IS anything you can think of - LET ME KNOW!

In the meantime - chin up. You are going to have an AMAZING wedding. And the people who are there are going to be ones that absolutely adore you and treasure you and KNOW what a gem you are. Plus... it's gonna be such a friggin' awesome party that the rest of those folks are gonna be soooo po'd that they missed it.

I'm so sorry that you're having to deal with this. People really suck sometimes. If worse comes to worse ask the hall if they can add in extras if you won't make the minimum.
