UUGHH! I usually don't post too much but this upset me a little and I needed to vent. My mom's kooky friend slipped and now I know my shower is sept. 13. I don't think I would have guessed that because it is still kinda early and that is my mom's birthday. I kind of always wanted to be surprised. Would anyone else be upset too. Maybe I am over reacting. I feel so bad for my mom. She was there when her friend slipped and the look on her face was so sad. They tried to play it off and I kind of pretended not to pay attention. But I talked to my mom about it later. Oh Well, I know it will be a great time either way just a little peeved. Sorry for the rant!

I feel bad for you Mom!!!! Mine's not a surprise because my Mom is doing it, here, and she's planning from Florida so has to come up, etc., and needs my input on places, blah blah blah. But I would feel terrible if she wanted it to be a surprise and someone ruined it!!! Poor Mom!!! I hate people sometimes, especially when they're careless. And I don't mean offense, but ruining a surprise, even accidentally, ***** -- more for the planners than the recipient!!!

maybe thats when they want you to 'think' your shower is! my friends mom did this, her friend 'accidently' slipped and told her when her shower was, but it wasnt actually that date...she was suprised when she walked into what she thought was a retirement party a month before she thought her shower was!
