Vent ..UPDATE

Has anyone gone to bridal world in Baldwin? I just called there to make an appointment and their hours are very limited and the lady who answered the phone was 'weird' and short with me? This scares me b/c if I find a gown here I am nervous to order it and get treated like I did just trying to make an appointment.....What Would you lady's do?



Ok so i went to Bridal World and worked with Bonnie and i have to tell you I LOVED the experience there! they have A TON of gowns kinda like RK Bridal and i found 3 gowns that i really really like one is what i think i am looking for (A-line) the other two are pick ups i will post the pictures when i get off from work....i am at the gym...=(.....I will put a poll up too b/c i am gonna need help with this one! I would totally reccomend this place it was great!

I'd give them a chance. I've heard good things about that place. perhaps it was a bad morning, or she was overwhelmed or busy. Who know's it could be anything! You have nothing to lose. If worse comes to worse, you go elsewhere.

Is there a particular reason you want to go there? If so, then go and look and make a judgment after you meet with them. In the worst case, take note of the designer and style of the dress you find and look for it somewhere else. Good luck. Sorry to hear you had a less than great experience. Sometimes I wonder about these people.

I agree w/ Mel on this one. I actually visited w/ them about a yr ago for my aunts wedding. They were fine w/ me, my aubt just didn't find anything she wanted

give them a chance. If you get a bad vibe when you are there you know it's not the right place and leave. Maybe there was something going on the made her unable to help you a lot over the phone. Wedding World in Happuage has wierd hours too.

It never hurts to look, and if you find a dress there and are really opposed to buying it there you can try to find it somewhere else.

Although, to be honest, I didn't really want to go to Adrienne's, I found a dress I LOVE there, and I can't find it anywhere else because they won't give me the brand. Another girl is having this same problem. I'm going to do some more detective work, but at the very worst I'll just get it there.

yep, that is me that is having the same problem...I am going today, ...but I haven't been able to locate the dress anywhere but at Adrienne's..but I might have to get it there and cross my fingers.

Sorry to squat your post but I bought my dress at Bridal World.

Bonnie is super nice. They ordered me a new dress for the rack price. It came at the time they told me it would.

I am so pleased with them. I am even surprised nobody here are talking about them.
