Vent: UPDATE!

So my dad is having surgery today--first surgery he's ever had and he's 60----needless to say I am very nervous and very upset.

This morning, I'm on the train on my way to work and I see a missed call from my FH. I check my voicemail, thinking he's leaving me a message to tell me everything is going to be ok, and instead, he leaves me this nasty message because he can't find his wallet and thinks I put it somewhere. ***? I am so annoyed. I am a nervous wreck and can barely even type this posting. I don't know why I came to work. My FH is usually so sweet and caring, but on the 1 day I really need him to be there for me, he's a complete a**. I am praying that everything is ok today.

Just needed to vent.


UPDATE:
Dad's in recovery and everything went ok...Thank God! FH called me to apologize for being such an a**. $20 says I have flowers waiting for me when I get home! Thanks for keeping me in your thoughts and listening to me vent!

I'm praying your dad is okay! Tell FH to stop being so selfish!

::::: i know how you're feeling. My dad was rushed to the hospital in May and needed an emergency stent put in which was really horrible because he has a lot of heath problems such as congestive heart failure. And as my dad was being taken out on a stretcher, all i wanted was my fiance to be there. He was at the chiropractor and didnt have his phone on him which made me lose it when i finally did hear from him (which was only a matter of minutes) and i flipped out.

I will say a prayer for your dad. Please let me know how his surgery goes.

awww I hope everything goes well with the surgery.

Maybe Fh doesn't realize how stressed you are about it. Also, sometimes guys just don't deal well with this kind of stuff. Let him know how you're feeling.

I hope everything goes well today! don't dwell on your FH's meltdown...not worth your energy. if he's sweet and caring he probably just had what i like to call a 'maturity hiccup' lolol. don't even waste any more time on that though - focus on sending good energy to your dad! Please let us know how he makes out!

Great to hear your Dad is doing well. Now lets just hope for a speedy recovery. He will get through this, so no worries!!!!!!!
