I HATE THE FACT THAT LUIS CANT TAKE A FKIN DAY OFF FROM WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We need to start looking for apartments.... Sundays are only da only day we are togther... Weekedays i can call in sick or take a vacation day... So Luis cant! He asked they cant give him ANY effing days! but yet when someone else needs a day THEY switch it right away!!!!!!!!!!!
I am so pissed now!
Sometimes i feel Luis is 'ok' with every decisions his job does of NOT giving him any effing days off but making him work sometimes even 7days a week straight!!!!!!!
If he only has Sundays off
HOW THE FCK WILL I PLAN THE WEDDING BY MYSELF & LOOK FOR AN APARTMENT BY MYSELF!???????????????????????????

That sucks! Is he around at night to help out? When I was apt hunting FI was working midnights and I worked evenings so we basically had no time together. What I did was look online & if I found a place that looked good I would go see it, then if I thought it was good enough I would make another apt. to have him see it. It's a pain in the *** I know but somehow you will get through it.

It's frustrating and trust me I did a lot by myself but comb through things make a narrowed down list and set things up on Sunday! This Wedding is coming fast and there are only a few more weeks! Just grin and bare it because after it's done you can relax!
You also need to sit him down and say 'I understand the last thing you want to do on a Sunday is run around with me but I need your help. I need you to know I don't get a break either, and it's easier when I have someone to do it with.'

His schedule really sucks but be grateful he has a job. To be honest with you I mostly plan the wedding myself bc Fabian also worked 6 days a week. But it was the only way him and I could of paid this wedding off ourselves.
On the other hand...when apt hunting came around. He said...I trust your taste, so what we would do is look at apts online and then I would see them myself. In the house we live now I saw it one night by myself, fell in love with it and right away said I want it.
It was the only way things would get done in my life. Good luck and be patient!

Wow it definitely sounds like his job is taking advantage of him! I can't believe they won't be a little lenient with his hours since he is getting married this year!
I'm sorry that all the work ends up coming down on you, hopefully you will find an apartment soon so that there is less to do.

So does Steve's schedule but when apt hunting I called and went to places narrowed down the search picked 4 to go to and he made final decision

I know exactly how you feel b/c your FH and mine both work in the restaurant business and well its hard for them to take off especially when they are really strict with their schedules. My FH works doubles Saturday and sunday and those are my days off . then his days off I work all day and only see him at night. It sucks b/c it's summer and I would love to spend time with him, go to a beach or pool or park but he has to always work. But i've gotten use to the schedule that I just deal with it. It's hard but its for a good cause.
Just give thanks he has a job! I'm sure he would love to take off but he would rather work and have $$ esp. to pay for the wedding and the rent that is coming up for you two.

I've been doing that forever, my fh and I only have saturdays together and that's when we have to get all our stuff done. It's terrible and I end up doing alot on my own. I hope his schedule changes soon. He works nights and I work days, plus he works sundays!

Are you working with an agent? FH and I started home hunting by going to open houses on our own. It was exhausting and we were only able to make it to 2, maybe 3 showings each time. Finally, we found someone who took us out for a day. We hit 9-11 places in the neighborhood we were interested in, in under 5 hours. We felt so accomplished and ended up with the first house on the tour.
Sorry about your schedules!! On the bright side, it looks like you have all your major vendors set!
