We have a LOT of freaks at my job and they're all nosy about my wedding.
If you ask around, people will tell you that I'm having the following:
- cotton candy machine
- bellydancers
- Mr. Met
- a Journey cover band
- fire breathers and sword swallowers

I'm only inviting a very small amount of the people I work with - people that I hang with on the weekends and am actual FRIENDS with. They all know that I'm having none of the above (though each element, on it's own, IMO seems pretty cool...all together is a clusterf**k!) and find it entertaining that I just plant the seeds in people's minds and let them grow.

My FH actually looked into the Journey cover band!!!!! They're awesome, but

I agree with the others, definitely casually call her out on it.

you should seriously 'book' some freaky things and talk about how they're the most 'popular things in weddings now'

make fake receipts or contracts for different things.

(1) 14ft long boa constrictor ... $300.00
includes
-snake trainer (or holder)
- one picture per guest
- live feeding (ew)
- two hours total, each additional hour- $175.00

- adult supervision required

limo with hot tub

have your FH write you an email and leave it on your screen and walk away for a while (if she's a peaker, she'll look)

I got (your favorite singer/band) to come sing our first dance! I heard something on the radio and I WON- well, WE won!'

ugh and to make it worse mine has been booked for months and ive been doing all this planning....but she just booked hers and its 2 weeks earlier so it will look like I am copying from her

Oh no! I hate when people do that and they're earlier.

You should just keep stressing that all of her ideas are like yours. You said she likes to talk about her wedding all the time. You should say, 'sounds exactly like my wedding' after each comment. She'll get the hint that you've already done all of it and hopefully it'll make her feel stupid!
