Vent/Help - I'm depressed - need help with my dress

Ok I'm not sure if anyone remembers my post from about three weeks ago that I was second guessing my dress.. Well I went back today where my dress is (already ordered & paid for) and I tried it on and I'm convinced now that this is not the dress that I had tried on in Aug (another boutique) --- Where I first saw 'THE' dress,,,, so now I'm thinking that the place where I saw the dress, originally, in Aug - I think that woman wrote down the wrong dress number. And that is why i ordered the wrong dress.
Now I dont really know what to do because now I want to find the original dress from Aug, I know its similar to the one I have Mori Lee 2138, but its not the same one. Can anyone help me find similar dresses to this in hopes of finding MY Dress??
I am here at work, depressed, stressed out and about to cry. I dont know what to do. My wedding is 4 months away & i have 10000 things on my mind. Can someone please, pretty please, help me?

Can you go back to the original boutique with the number they gave you and see what comes up?

Also, contact the designer and ask them which ones are similar to that.

Places use their own coding system so you won't go out and order it some place else. If the dress didn't have Mori Lee tags on it then chances are that what they did. Go back to the original boutique and find out who the designer is.

THe embroidery I think ended a little bit higher, it didnt go that low.
THe skirt part (where its scrunched up) I think it had these silver little hangy things (you know what I mean?)


Maybe I'm just imagining things and going crazy? No I would know right?

Don't stress...there is still plenty of time!! Is there any way you can go back to the original store and see if the dress is there and see if it is actually another dress???

Well listen to psycho girl over here.... I went back about 2 weeks ago & what do you know they had that dress (that I ordered) in the window. And so then I thought ok I guess I was bugging out, I guess this is the dress. But now thinking about it - Its not the same one that I originalllllly had. So I guess I would have to go back & show her the business card she gave to me and ask her to give me that dress. Right/

I think this happens all the time---at least it does on the show 'Say yes to the dress.' Sometimes the brides remember the dress differently. Other times, the places made a mistake. I looked around online and don't see any other designers with ML initials (at least not wedding dress designers) but it's possible that those letters were just the coding for the store. I agree with the others that you should contact the place where you first ordered the dress.

heres the thing most stores wont really tell you who the maker is cause they want you to order the dress from their ... if you go thier and say that you ordered the dress formsome were else they probably wont be much help. I would just maybe go there and say this ... i already ordered a dress but i am having second thoughts about it i would like to see this dress again and give them the style number at that point than look in the dress and see the designer ... then i would just be like would you be able to get the dress in on time if i order it by say monday ... than decide if the dress you actually have is the same one and if its not decide if you are going to suck it up pay for hte second one and try to sell the first one.. good luck ...

I went back to both places. Emailed both of my sisters - b/c they're the two that saw me in my original dress back in Aug.... And I quizzed them I sent them an email with 4 similar dresses adn they said that the 4th one (the one that I have) is THE dress & that I'm going crazy.
So there you go. I hope I'm not the first to throw a scene over nothing.

I think Im just going to stick with this one....
I went yesterday and looked at other dresses but honestly there was nothing that caught my eye.
Maybe its because I know this is the dress. I no longer know. I'just need to forget about it.

A lot of times the designers upgrade the styles. Maybe the dress you tried on was an older, discontinued version of the dress that you bought...
