Venting....

I thought I knew where my wedding (ceremony and reception) would be. But today me and FH went to visit the yacht and I was so disappointed and irritated afterwards. First off the yacht is small and even though we are only having about 50 people it feels as if all of our guests would be tripping over eachother. Then when I asked the where the ceremony would be held she showed me the front of the boat, which is romantic and beautiful, but there would be no place for people to sit! She had the nerve to tell me that our guests could stand on the 2nd floor balcony and watch from there!!!! I chose a yacht because it seemed like a unique idea. Also I thought it would be more economical than another venue. So, I'm poutty and sad, and eloping is sounding better and better every minute! I just feel like there are no places that will be affordable and beautiful. Thanks for reading this. I needed to write my frustration here or I would be too much of a pain in the *** with my FH!!!

I'm so sorry to hear that your idea is not going as planned. Lots of hugs to you. I'm sure you and your FH will think of something just as beautiful. I know it can get really frustrating though. For awhile I kept saying lets forget the whole wedding thing. Too much planning involved and there are always road blocks.

I'm sorry you are disappointed about your dream wedding. If you are having a number of doubts about it, I'd definitely look around at other venues. I'm sure you can find a nice, beautiful place to have your ideal wedding....
