Yesterday I was on the phone FI cousin and I told her I am not having children at the wedding well she was giving bs story that she has nobody to watch the kids just mind you that my wedding is in March from now till march she has nobody to watch the kids? I told her every party she goes she doesn't bring the kids now that they are not invited she wants to bring them. What should I do when I order the invitation do I write on the invitation Adult affair only?

Re: Venting....
we have been to plenty of wedding receptions that were adult only and they wrote 'adult reception' on the reception card!

Re: Venting....
I put 'Adult Reception' on the lower left hand corner of the RSVP card. My printer suggested putting it there instead of the actual invitation. That way your keepsake won't say it.

I can't stand when people do that! I think she can find a sitter in the next 8 months. Give me a break!

Re: Venting....
I am in the same position you are, only I can't put adult reception because the only 4 children invited are in the bridal party (FG, RB, 2 Jr. BM), so it's not technically an 'adult' reception. But I've been hearing comments about it from some guests of mine also.
