So this is the extent of my conversations with FH this week. And it's Wednesday evening.
Me: Hi, do you want to go to dinner? FH: No. Me: OK bye.
And other weeks aren't that much different. If I'm engaged and in a relationship, then why do I always feel alone?

Re: Venting
don't feel bad that would be me and FH if we didn't see each other - after nine years he is still unable to talk on the telephone - it is pathetic
we are lucky bc we live so close we see each other every day. . . dont get me wrong when we see eachother we dont really talk but its just comfortable hanging out. . .
anyway, when we didnt see eachother every day the only time we talked was when i would fight with him about NOT talking. . .

Re: Venting
i could imagine it would be difficult when u dont live together and you are so busy! when FH and i didnt live together we hardly saw each other during the week, b/c i was just so tired at night by the time i got home! we would occasionally meet for dinner, but what we used to do was call each other every morning on the way to work and again in the evening or at night. that helped a litttle bit. if it is bothering you that much, you should def. talk to him about it. maybe he just needs to be 'clued in'. some guys just dont know any better. he may not realize, ya know? but i would definately bring it up now.

awwww...i'm sorry you feel that way. but i agree, you really need to talk to him about it. it sounds like he doesn't realize he's not giving you as much as you need. i would be really upset if that was happening to me. tell him how you feel!!

Re: Venting
Thats awful, maybe it is time to spice up the romance part of your relationship a little bit? Maybe some personal time could help the conversation times. I would sit and talk to him, ask him whats up and if there is somethig he needs to get off his chest...

yes I would definetly talk to him. Fh and I see each other almost every day. He lives so close so we can do that. And were are always on the phone through out the day. Either about wedding stuff or things we have to do. Or even just to say hi. Definelty sit down with him and tell him how you are feeling.

Re: Venting
Sorry you are going through this!!
I completely know how you feel...FH is in the Military and stationed in San Diego- so we are lucky if we see one another every couple months (actually it has been since Jan 6 that I last saw him- only 74 days till I see him again!)
but anyway alot of the times we dont have anything to talk about on the phone because since we dont see each other we are always on the phone (well atleast once in the morning and then after work or school at night for a decent amount of time)
but at first he wouldnt really talk and I was getting pissed telling him we cant see each other so we need to talk--eventually FH got over himself and he began to chat more and now if I dont call him by 10pm he calls me asking why we havent talked since this morning I have him trained so well jk
I think you should talk to FH and explain how you are feeling and maybe even set aside a certain time that you guys talk on the phone or see each other...

oh man. that stinks.
my FH is the EXACT same way. Getting him to do anything with me is literally like pulling fingernails. I chalk it up to 'he's a little biitch.' Don't sweat it.

Re: Venting
Sometimes I really believe they just don't think about stuff like this. I'm sorry you are upset. Keep talking to him about it until he makes more of an effort.
