Vent..need advice (LONG) Update

I think with month to go I am going to lose my mind. Everyday is new drama. Fh has these 2 friends, one he has been friends with since they were 10 the other about 5 yrs. Both are in the wedding. Last July the long time friend married a total witch, who i hate. She is just awful. Anyway the other friends fiance and her have gotten to be good friends. At my shower they barely spoke to me, except to be rude and barely spoke to anyone esle just of course to be rude. Anyway I told FH I had it and he called the husband of the witch and the other friend. The best friend' husband told his wife and supposedly things were smoothed over. We have not heard from the other couple but supposedly it was ok. Well calls were made for FH bachelore party and now yesterday the other friend calls and says his dumb b**** fiance doesnt want to go to the wedding she is mad, she did nothing wrong. Meanwhile this happened 1st week of june they sent their response back after that and they call one month before?

So what the heak am I supposed to do? I say good riddens. If someone can pull this **** one month from the wedding they are no friend of mine. I know the wife and fiance are b***** so I will not apologize for being disrespected. FH is hurt and doesnt know what to do. FH wants to call and try to chalk it up to a misunderstanding, so basically I have to say I was wrong.

Ladies any advice?

TIA

Update: after 2 weeks of going back and fortha nd FH feeling bad, finally the other night his friend called and I told him listen he was one of our best friends and I respect this situation he is in but its now 3 wks until our wedding. His FW refuses to come and she still says she said nothing. I even was like maybe I took it wrong what was said. Anyway he wont stand up to her and she wont budge so that is that. We wished him well in his life. Poor guy it only just begun for him if she does this now.

Thanks everyone for the advise

I don't think I did anything wrong expect say enough, you don't come to my shower and be rude.

The friend who FH has been friends with for yrs is coming and so is his wife. Kinda weird right? The other is not coming and dropped out of the wedding because she wont go.

Hey Lori..sorry to hear that you are having stresses like this and especially when its not necessary! So for starters,
Heres my advice to you.....ever hear kill them w/kindness. Sometimes being the better person can make the other feel bad for their actions. I wouldnt go apoligizing since I dont believe you did anything wrong. Maybe just stating that whatever it is they are upset over is silly and quite immature and that we are all adults. Its important that they are there, at ur wedding, for FH and it would mean a lot if they went.
Sometime you have to just suck things up and be the better person, even though deep down you already are. Think of doing this for FH and not for any other reason....then you might feel better about doing it.

Mean people need to be put in their place and it can be by showing that you arent the BEOTCH they say you are. I know you arent!

Good luck!!

Sorry you’re going through this.

IMO, since they are FH’s friends, he is the one who needs to find out what’s going on.

Re: Vent..need advice (LONG)

Honestly,

If one of my FH's friends dropped out of the wedding b/c their girlfriend/fiance was mad at ME, then I would REALLY wonder what kind of friendship they had in the first place....and, I would never expect my FH to drop out of someone's wedding just b/c I don't like the bride! I think this 'friend' that dropped out has more issues with his fiance than anything else. Not fair to your FH. Maybe you and your FH can talk to BOTH of these people? Try and arrange a meeting face-to-face. It's a lot easier to argue and fight over the phone than in person.
To me, friendship is worth fighting for. You don't just let it go so easy....GOOD LUCK.
