Vent/Rant/Rave

SOOO, yesterday i had an appt wit westbury manor to choose menu & stuff for eparty i got stuck at work and had to take train from the city, then FH and i get into a HUGE fight because we are running so late & while we are arguing on the phone when he is on his way to pick me up at the station (couldnt take a cab cause they were trying to charge me 20 bucks from hicksville 2 westbury! and 15 min wait!) the woman calls to see if we are going to come or what since it was almost 730 my appt was for 7 & she had an appt for 8,which i proceede to tell her off about how i thought i couldnt get a later appt (duh since i work late).lol she was so taken aback that she was like u dont have to yell at me! so i was like look i'm on my way. when we get there her 8 had shown up half hour early so they were like we are sooo sorry but you have to wait, then they said why dont you guys have dinner on us tonight...& we were like ok!
so then we tried to stop fighting and enjoy our dinner. Meeting went well and everyone was in a better mood.FH is at his wits end with all the planning and doesnt want to be involved anymore says its too much for him even though i'm the one who works late!
today is our one year till our wedding & our 4 year anniverary, we are both sooo stressed.
we have tix to see mama mia tonight,how cliche! hope we can be civil & happy tonight

I know what its like to be the one working late. You guys are both just stressed out, I'm sure it will all work out okay

I am sure you will be ok. Try to really enjoy tonight and not talk about the wedding, e-party or anything for the night. Just enjoy the time together.

Sometimes you just need a small break from it to make the stress and tension go away.

dont worry it happens to all of us this wedding planning is a stressful thing! just take it one step at a time dont get stressed it will work out!

i hear you; i'm always the one rushing to get out there for appointments. the first time we went to see our RH before we booked FH got into a car accident on the way to pick me up from the LIRR!! I freaked out but he was okay - I did worry that it was a bad sign... he hasn't wanted to be involved from the beginning. Only thing we've done together was pick the hall... I did photos and dj on my own. I'm literally forcing him for input on the honeymoon...

so don't worry you're not alone, and all you girls whose FH's are so into this, you're very lucky!!
