I'm sorry that you guys fight over that... I may have missed the previous posts or don't recall... It means a lot to FH but I agree he shouldn't force it.

Ohhhh sucks your going through this...hopefully he can get over this and soon...

i laugh bc i am in the SAME situation!!! and want to tell FH that every time he talks about his mother and I doing things. what is worse though is that he doesnt even get along with her so why should i!?!?!? For example...we have decided to take the train to visit his family for chrismas eve tomorrow...it would be a 1 hour car ride or a 2 hour 15 min train ride....but we both said we needed liquor to handle her and therefore the train won.

I'm blessed with in laws. We all get along great. I just lost my FFIL, he was a wonderful man, I miss him.

wow - i know it must be hard for him but with all the crazy drama she has put you two through already you would think he would accept it as what it is

problems with the FMIL are the worst!!

Im sure many of us an relate.

I've had to put my FMIL in her place after she said some terribly hurtful things to me once

I get along with her, but my guard is up after that incident.

I am so sorry chica.. and Trust me I am in the same situation as YOU. My FMIL and I will NEVER EVER be Best Friends!
I told Fh and Fh knows it and it hurts him but he knows his mom is the one to blame since she is always making the drama...
