Venue help

HI ladies! This is my first post, so excuse me if this has been posted before.
Also, excuse the name- I created it years ago when my sister got married, however now I am posting for myself.
Im searching for the perfect venue (as I am sure you all did).
I want something different, unique. I loved the idea of a museum wedding but am not paying a 10,000 site fee.
I am open to any suggestions. I was looking into Allegria (Long Beach)
Oceanbleu (west Hampton)
Old Field
Bourne Mansion
deseversky mansion
Vineyard caterers

I also like the idea of an outdoor reception. it could be beach or garden. i would like to not spend more than 150pp. I m open to dates Oct 2011-June 2012.
I would love any suggestions, pricing, photos of places i have not mentioned or info on the places I listed above.
i have become distrurbingly addicted to this site in the past month.

Re: Venue help

Vineyard Caterers is definitely under $150 pp and you can do the ceremony outdoors. I was looking at May '12 and was quoted $105 pp (excl. tax and grat) for 175 minimum. Outdoor ceremony space was gorgeous as was the CH room.

Ocean Bleu is Gorgeous!! But def over your budget for summer..you could check off season I don't know how much it goes down. I also check Allegria and they were close to $200pp

Thanks ladies. A few questions-
Any more info about vineyard? The picture I see of the cocktail hour aren't tgat appealing. However I have heard otherwise.

Oceanblue- I can go up in price if necessary. Do you know the cost? Do you have any additional info on it? I haven't been able to find much info on it since it's fairly new.

I know my venue isn't one that you listed, but they're in your price range, and beautiful.
