venue help

Hi all! I need help please!!! I just got engaged a little over a week ago but would really like to get the search started!! I'm looking to have a 2013 wedding, or possibly early 2014. We are living out of state right now (I am from LI originally) so we are trying to get some quotes to see which places are within our price range before we get to long island to visit places in person. I would really like a Saturday night but am flexible on the time of year. We are expecting about 175 people and would like to be at or under 85pp INCLUSIVE of taxes and service charges (so about 65pp before that is added in I guess). I'm sure there's not much in that price range, but so far I know of at least one...does anybody know of any others that they can FM me quotes for? Thanks a bunch!! So excited to start planning with you ladies!

Try the miller place inn and west sayville country club if you're looking in Suffolk. I got quotes for Saturdays in those price ranges for September 2013. Good luck!

didnt go to suffolk but i know coral house in baldwin is around that price but from all the places ive seen, $65 is tough for a sat...u may wanna consider sundays and fridays too

Fox Hollow quoted us $85pp for the Somerley in Jan 2014 and $70pp for the other room, can't remember the name, but that's ++. We guaranteed 180...Good luck!

I'd recommend looking into Fox Hollow and Westbury Manor. It will be hard to obtain Sat. evening inclusive rates of $85pp, but may be possible during the off-season.
Also look into Sans Souci of Sea Cliff and Stewart Manor Country Club. When we were looking both offered winter discount weddings, and they did not charge more for Saturdays which I thought was great!
