Venue help!!

Venue help!!

FH and I got engaged in May and are planning on getting married in the spring of 2015. We are planning to have around 130 people. We both fell in love with Jericho Terrace but feel like The Oak Room is just too small for 130 guests, but the Dome room is too big. We liked the size of the garden room at Westbury Manor, but both felt like it was a little to traditional for us. We need some more venue ideas for 130 people! We are open to Nassau and Suffolk. Help!

Timber Point! I think it would be perfect for around 130 people.

I agree with Angie. My SIL's wedding was at Timber Point a couple of months ago, they had about 135 people and it was the perfect-sized room.

I did hear about the Royalton and Timber Point but didn't really check them out more. I am def going to go look at them both now! Thank you so much! Haven't checked out Flowerfields yet but we are going to look at Lands End. Does Timber point have different rooms?

The North Ritz club is gorgeous but they want a 200 person minimum. I think I may have the same issue with Lands End.

DeSeversky is gorgeous and designed for a wedding about that size. I've never been, but I hear the Royalton is beautiful, too.

I've also heard great things about the Riviera in Massapequa.

Good luck!!

How about the skylight room at Jericho Terrace? It's been recently renovated and looks beautiful. That room is bigger than the oak room.

I recommend checking out the Estate building at East Wind- It's beautiful and I wasn't told a minimum, very roomy

Timber Point is one wedding at a time, so you'll have the entire place to yourself. They are having their showcase tomorrow (Tuesday July 16th), if you are interested. I am getting married there and I love the venue.

I had that count at first, now I'm up to 200. FH is ridiculous. I'm at the Royalton, definitely check it out!!

The Metropolitan! We have 147 on the list, hoping it'll come down to 120-130.

Try Bridgeview. I think they can do 130 for a friday. Ask for Samantha!

Also Swan club was very nice and very beautiful in the spring. You could do the smaller room.

Lands End has a 175 min for a friday night & 200 person min for a saturday night. at least that is what they told us when we went to look there in January

Timber Point was 2nd on our list, we chose Riviera (obviously) but Timber Point is having a bridal showcase tonight that I'm going too (I still need to find a few vendors and I love going to the shows)

Good luck!! I would suggest to go to all the places you really love and then revisit your top 3, that's what we did =)
