Venue HELP!

Hi Everyone!

I recently got engaged and am planning a wedding for 2016. I know that it is pretty early to book a venue but I think my anxiety will continue until I have a venue booked! :)

I've looked at Flowerfield and the Woodbury CC. I am going to be looking at Lands' End and The Vineyard Caterers. Does anyone have any other suggestions or experiences with these venues? Flowerfield is my dream venue but it is looking like it might be out of my price range (although I haven't quite given up hope).

I'm looking for a Saturday evening in the Spring! (March-May)

Venue HELP!

Congrats! Yay! Another 2016 bride! I'm August 2016 and I booked my venue a few months ago. It's never too early and you'll have your pick of dates and lock in 2014 prices in a lot of places. Going to March will probably save you a bunch because it's still considered 'winter' to most venues. Flowerfield is definitely pricey. I was quoted $225pp for a Saturday in October 2016 for 150 people or $195pp for 200 people. I love that venue too but wouldn't even let myself go tour it because I knew I couldn't afford it lol. Definitely check out fox hollow (I'm biased but it's awesome lol)

Venue HELP!

I've been to a wedding at vineyard caterers. I wasn't impressed with the food. But the outdoor ceremony at sunset was so beautiful.

Venue HELP!

We were very close to selecting Lands End as our venue. I will FM you the rates we received from them - I believe i have march 2015 as well. Just note, they were able to come down alot from what the original quote was based on a few negotiating emails.

Venue HELP!

Go to Floral Terrace! They're awesome. I saw so many other places and nothing else compared to its food and ballroom. Talk to Frank and let him know that Rita (1/17/2015) sent you. I love him! So helpful!
