Venue help

I posted in brides helping brides, but maybe since they're looking at 2015 here is the best place to post:

Hey girls, so my friends got engaged a few months ago and are starting to look at venues. I'm pretty sure they're going to have a decent sized guest list ( around 200 give or take) and are looking to keep the cost pp under $140. They live in the city so are lost when it comes to LI venues. They're looking at 2015 ( preferably Fall). I don't need exact quotes but if you ladies have any suggestions on Venus I can recommend to them please let me know! Thanks

Venue help

Friday, Saturday, or Sunday? I believe Fox Hollow was around that for the fall. We checked out the Allegria, Bourne Mansion, and Garden City Hotel. The only one that did not fall into that budget was Garden City Hotel.... We only looked at Saturday nights. Hope this helps :)

Thanks! I'm not sure if they're specific to a day but I already told her she should be wiling to budge/compromise with something, be it price, day, month to keep it in the price range they want and not make themselves crazy.

Fox Hollow is definitely in that budget, maybe even in the Somerley on a Friday, especially if they're willing to push it to November.

It depends on which day they are looking for? Meaning afternoon or evening? I know East Wind can meet their budget 100%.... and actually be a little more than half of that budget. We booked Giorgios- and I think it is absolutely amazing- and we got amazing prices for that as well for an afternoon wedding in October. :D

The Somerley is a little over that for a November/Friday

Lands End was willing to come down to a very good price for November

Yeah, we saw the Somerley and have quotes for Sept/Oct so I wasn't even going to suggest it for them, as far as a day, They'd prefer a Saturday but are open to Friday (evening for both). Sunday is out for them.

They should check out the Lessings venue. We are getting married in April 2015, but I know fall 2015 was less than that as well.

Chateau La Mer is definitely under that mark - we really liked it and went to a wedding there in the past and had a great time. The only reason they werent in the top choices is becuase I didnt like the indoor ceremony room

Larkfield. I know its far in East Northport, but we were quoted for the fall way under $140 for a fri or sat wedding.

Bayview House at Captain Bill's in Bay Shore is definitely in that price range!

Hi Everyone...I just started looking at venues and was wondering if anyone had quotes for a Friday night in August, September,October,November at these places:
Crest hollow country club
Chateaubriand
Villa lombardis
Venetian yacht club

Any help on these venues would be greatly appreciated!!!!
