VENUE HELP (FH, WM, JT, CLM, VYC) likes/ dislikes/ prices ....NEWLY ENGAGED!!!!

I am recently engaged and new to this site!! All of my girlfriends who are married have told me great things about this site that all the brides on here are very helpful!

We're looking to book our wedding for June or Sept 2012 ... and a Sat night!! So far we've narrowed our list down to Fox Hollow, Westbury Manor, Jericho Terrace, Chateau La Mer, Venetian Yacht Club to start out with.... and probably a few others to compare to also.

Any insight - who to ask for, what to expect, prices that you were quoted, likes, dislikes, etc. would be greatly appreciated!!! Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

Thanks girls!!

You probably want to check the thread on Brides Helping Brides about venue prices...

Hi Welcome!@
Good to see another 2013 bride!!! LOL
The price all depend on the month you are getting married b/c it goes up in april FYI...and when i frist started looking i want to at least 7 places b/f i know that westbury manor was the one. The prices will vary all depands on if you are going to have a day wedding or night... best of luck to you and u can go to 2013 board ...we are there...

Congrats on your engagement!!!

FH and I looked at a few places before deciding, we took decor, price, food and throw-ins into consideration, but ultimately it came down to the place that 'stood out'....I don't know how to explain it;...it's just a feeling of knowing 'this is it'

We were really torn between the North Ritz and Sand Castle, then we went back to look at the Sand Castle one more time and booked on the spot.

Most of the prices we were quoted for a Saturday night were in the $150 ball park (including tax and gratuity)

Good luck!!
