Venue Prices

Hello ladies,

I am getting married Sept 26 2014 (a Friday night)... I have looked at a couple of places, and then comparing the prices i was quoted at to what some ladies on here paid, i felt that maybe I was quoted a little high. So far I have seen the Watermill, which I was quoted at $99pp on a Fri night, and Wind Watch Golf and Country CLub (met with Kim), quoted me at $90 on a Friday night... is this a little steep for Wind Watch? Is it bc its a 2014 wedding, (i would have thought you would get a better deal this early on). There are quite a few other places i was interested in (all mid and eastern Suffolk County), any prices that you can provide me would be sooo helpful for when i go to look and to help me negotiate a good price!
Some of the places i am interested in are:
Hamlet Golf and Country Club, Majestic Gardens, Chateau La Mer, Rock Hill Country Club, Miller Place Inn, (and lots more)
Thanks ladies!!

Sept is high season so prices are the most...maybe that's why the prices are different. The watermill price sounds about right though im getting married thereon a friday night in april

Prices go up from 2013 to 2014, booking early is great but I think they do quote you higher since they have no worries about filling dates yet.

They will still work with you on prices though, especially for a Friday night! I would ask what the price would be in 2013 and then try to work with them from there.

I think the Venetian Yacht Club should come in right at your budget.

I am booked at Willow Creek Golf and CC (sister of Wind Watch and Hamlet) for July 2014...granted my wedding is in the summer and a Saturday evening, I was quoted 130pp. After searching around a few other places and talking to some girls on LIW, we decided 130 was actually a steal for a Summer Saturday, so when I hear 90 or 99, I tend to think that is a pretty good price. Good luck!

I know I already sent you some info but we were quoted $95 for a Sat night in Sept/OCt by Kim at Wind Watch and I'm paying $100pp at my venue for the day after you're looking at so anywhere from $90-110 seems like a good price to me

This is an amazing deal! Do you have any pictures of the place? How did you even hear of it? I dont see any details on their site.

Does it have to be in suffolk? The sand in lido also has an al inclusive package. It's $12,000 for the all inclusive wedding.

If your willing to go to Nassau try: Swan Club, Crest Hallow,Riviera, Venetian yatch Clun and Woodlands.

Or how about East Wind? I just went to a wedding out there a few weeks ago, it was very pretty and the food was great!

I am getting married at Giorgio's but on a Sunday afternoon in September. I THINK, but can't remember they had said a Friday night and Sunday afternoon were the same price. I am paying $95 pp and that includes tax and tip.

Hope this helps.

May - Oct is the high season. FH cousin got married at Watermill and that quote seems appropriate to what they told us. We are getting married at East Wind. We are paying $115 for a Sat night (includes ++). I suggest looking there! :)
