Venues

Hi Ladies! I am a May 2012 bride recently looking at venues. I have seen the Woodbury CC, Crest Hollow, Fox Hollow, Giorgios, and the Watermill. At this time I am torn between Giorgios and Fox Hollow, both gave us same price but I am in Kings Park which is about 45 minutes from Giorgios. I am looking for that type of place though, so can anyone recommend places like those that are in that price range for me to look at? Also if anyone is a Fox Hollow bride or Giorgios bride, could you tell me about your experience so far? Any help is appreciated!

Thank you! I have found that while looking I am seeing that food and scenery outdoors is important to me, I also really love the ballrooms at Giorgios and Fox Hollow. Sat. night wedding Giorgios and fox hollow both gave us 110 pp plus tax and gratuity so its really more like 140 pp. But we were possibly thinking of doing a Sunday at Fox Hollow which would put us down to 102 pp! I'm feeling anxious about the idea of a Sunday wedding, but 8500 dollars is a big chunk of change! Have you ever been to Land's End? I'm sure they are expensive but I hear the scenery is amazing!

Congrats and welcome!!! another May bride there are a lot of us!!!

Lands end is absolutely beautiful! I would lovee to get married there but it was out of my price range, I dont remember exactly what I was quoted.

Also, I would try Riviera in Massapequa, again I don't remember my exact quote but it was the lowest quote I received for a Saturday night and they were really really nice! but of course, I fell in love with a more expensive place LOL!

Congrats!!!! and Welcome! May is a beautiful month...it's my bday month!! But I'm getting married in January because I love the snow and some other reasons as well.

land's end is amazing. I was quoted $110 or oct 2011..its a sunday afternoon.

sat eves in may are over 200 i think.

I am getting married april 2012 at Crestwood Manor in Northport. It is a bit smaller than most places (IDK how many guest you were thinking) But it is beautiful and willing to work with prices

I went to a wedding at the Old Field Club and thought it was gorgeous!! I'm not getting married there but it is beautiful and the food was great.

Thanks for the feedback ladies! I am going to see Land's End tomorrow (by myslef since my fiance lives in NJ and I could care less about anyones opinion but his haha). Giorgios was the first place I fell in love with then I went to Fox Hollow and loved it too!. But unfortunately i returned to Giorgios last night with my mom and sisters and re- fell in love so I am more confused than ever. I think my fiance and I need to just decide if spending all that money is really an option for us at this point :/

Welcome!!!!!!!!! I am doing a Sunday wedding and it saved me a great deal of money, my wedding is at westbury manor and is $77pp. I don't know if you have ever seen it there, but it is beautiful!!! They have exotic birds there and peacocks roaming around. The food is also amazing there!!!!! FM me if you have any questions.

Which room are you in? I love WM but
