Hello girls... I finally found my dream dress today but was heartbroken when I looked at the price tag! I can't seem to get my mind off of this dress even though I know it's wayyyyyy over my budget. I'm wondering if anyone is selling a used Vera Wang Luxe Le Notre or knows where I can purchase one at a discounted price. I am open to suggestions if you know of any similar dresses as well. Thanks!

Thanks for the suggestions girls. I actually did check E-Bay today and they didn't have it. I will check into a custom dress designer although that might be pricey too!

wait for a sample sale and you can get it for alot less
Lots of times you can find dresses similar to Vera Wang and just edit the dress to look more similar to your dream dress. That is if cost is more important than designer.

you could bring a picture to a dress maker and see what it would cost for them to make one very similar. Or you can start searching sample sales.
Sample sales. Bergdorfs, Saks, Vera Wang (once a year) and Kleinfeld.

If Vera Wang has a website with some sort of thing where you can sign up for info, then def. do that and you'll get an email for sample sales directly at her boutiques,I did this for Monique Lhullier and a few others I was interested in. Then also find out where she sells out of...I know there's Vera Wang gowns and Saks, and probably Bergdorf's too. Do the same things on their websites if they have them. A bride on here got a Vera Wang gown at a Saks sample sale for close to half off the regular price. I think Saks does it once or twice a year. So does Mark Ingram (Bridal Atelier), but not sure if he carries Vera Wang...
And I second TopButton as well, they send out sample sale emails all the time.

I also loved a Melissa Sweet Dress but my mother didn't love it.
I obsessed over both dresses and didn't even want to look at other dresses. I finally went to Bridal Reflections and the 2nd dress I tried on was a mix of the TWO dresses I loved and it was a fraction of the price. I ended up happier and I knew that I didn't spend a crazy amount of $$$ for a dress I will wear for 5 hours. What I'm trying to say is that you will find a dress you love without paying a ton of $$. Hope this helps!!
