Did anyone register for Pink Duchesse china? For some reason FH thinks that one of the plates is purple, not pink. Can anyone help me out? I've been working on him for MONTHS to let me register for it but I can't prove him wrong since I'm stuck in my office all day and it's hard to tell from the pics on the Fortunoff website. Thanks!!
Hi there!! Sorry I haven't had a chance to get back to your FM! If I remember correctly, it really was a *little* on the purple side -- particularly the accent plate. Not totally purple but pink with a hint of purple in it. BUT, if you can hang on till I get home tonight, I'll take a look at my china and let you know for sure!
PS -- on the Fortunoff's website -- they actually call it the 'Lavendar Accent/Salad Plate'

I'm glad to hear FH was wrong! My other question for those of you who have the china, do you still love it or do you wish you'd gotten something that wasn't pink--something more like the Blanc Sur Blanc. Thanks again!

My friend got this and it is gorgeous. My cop Fiance said no pink, no girl stuff in the wedding or in our house!!!!

Leese--my FH (the prosecutor) said the same thing. What is it with these government guys? I'm not allowed to have pink ANYWHERE in our house! But I pointed out that since I'm not allowed to have a pink bedroom (like I wanted) and no pink anywhere else (except the wedding), I should be able to get the china I love since we'll probably only use it 2 times a year
