Verdi

Is anyone using or has used Verdi? I know that they don't like pictures lists, but are any of you creating a list of family shots that you would like to get. Such as all the cousins, everyone from my college. Or ar you going to just let them do there thing. Any input would be appreciated.

a girl on theknot used them for her photography. She posted many of her pics on her bio--i don't think she used a 'must-have' list, persay, they just knew the best pics to take

I use Verdi & LOVED them!
As my Wedding got closer, they did ask me if there were any specific family shots, etc...that we wanted. I just told them to do their thing, & was SO happy w/ the results!!!

Same here!

I gave them general ideas of the things I wanted and on the day of, if I saw things I wanted, I just told them to shoot and they did.

I'm still thrilled with our pics.

I'm using Verdi and I'm definitely giving them lists of must-take posed pictures. I spoke with Mindy about this when I booked, and she said I should definitely do it. Obviously they might not be able to catch all your cousins together (especially of they don't know who your cousins are, or that you even want that picture), so if it's important to have that shot, put it on the list.


I've found Verdi to be really accomodating about my requests so far. Mindy told me that they will take whatever pictures you want. If you want all photojournalistic and no posed pictures, they'll be happy to do it, if you want a ton of posed pictures, they'll do that too.

My sister used Verdi. At that time they did ask her for specific 'must take' photos which they didn't do and then denied that she gave them one. When my sister questioned them after the wedding they were very unprofessional (Mindy more so). They do take beautiful pics but they missed really basic shots.

We are using Verdi. It's not so much that they will not shoot a 'must take' list but they do not want to tie up the entire length of the wedding w/ formal portrait shots. They try to do more photojournalism and have the shots from the day tell your story. They will ask you if there are any must have shots and will work with you on them. Good luck.

I can believe this happened to your sister. I will say we were treated VERY unprofessionally, as well, after our wedding when we spoke of disatisfaction of ONE page in our album. I will also say it was Mindy more so, as well.
