Verdi Photography?

Anyone use them? Recommendations? I am looking for a photographer that is really good at candid shots.... I'm not planning on taking that many posed shots.

We used them for our wedding (actually just did our album last night!). They were great to work with...we were thrilled with our pictures. There were some shots that we weren't so thrilled with - but for reasons beyond all our control (loss of daylight) and a few shots that were missed. But overall, we loved working with them and love all that they captured. They truly told a story of the day.

What do you want to know?

Verdi is awesome! a co-workers nephew used them and their pics were outstanding! They have TONS have pictures on their web site from passed weddings if you want to check that out. They aren't cheap but totally worth it.

While we're on the subject of photo...check out Visual Concepts too. They are also a husband wife team and we booked them. (comprable in price and style) I didn't meet with Verdi. But love their work.

Jordan - how would you classify their style? Did they get a lot of great candid shots? We are only 'posing' for shots with immediate family and the BP, so I want someone who can really capture the feeling of the day - if that makes any sense.

Did you get a videographer as well?

Very candid - that's what we wanted. Outside of the obligatory BP & family shots...everything else was photojournalistic in style. They will listen to you and will definitely work with you. Have you met with them yet?

No, we didn't want a videographer. My BIL filmed me and the girls getting ready, the ceremony and our first dance...and that was all we wanted.

OMG I absolutely LOVED working with Verdi!!!!!!
And yes, they do lots of 'photojournalism' (Candid shots).
