Their pictures are gorgeous!!! The only thing I don't like about them is tht the proofs have writing across them - their copyright information.

I'm using them. We're doing our e-pics today out at Montauk. Their work is amazing. Both our MOH and BM used them for their weddings as well as other friends of ours.

Really? Well then, I'll check them out! Do you get loose proofs or do you get a cd of proofs? And if you get a personal cd of proofs, do they have the copyright info on them? I just don't want to have to go through my photographer for reprints.

i'm almost positive that you have to get your reprints through them--they do not release the negatives.

You will get your proofs from them . . . eventually. You need to wait about two years and order all reprints from them in the meantime.
This wasn't important to me, but it's an issue for many people, and something to consider.

I am using Verdi for my July 8, 2006 wedding...I booked them in February 05, and am paying $4500...(I don't know if they've raised prices since then)
Our package includes: 2 photographers both shooting color and b&w for 9 hours All proofs from the day in a proof album (minimum 750 prints) Choice of various bound leather library albums with either 36 8X12's, 36 7X10's or 36 pages of assorted size photos (custom). I also have the ability to add anything additional, or upgrade anything that's already included.

I specifically asked Michelle Verdi this question when I booked with them, and she said that there is nothing printed across the front of the proofs that come in your proof album. She said that the only thing printed on them is the print number on the back...
I know that the photos on their website have 'VERDI' across them, but I believe that's just to prevent people from printing photos off their website without paying (can you blame them?).

I'm using them. . . I *love* them- they are so professional and they're artisits. Honestly, everyone else paled in comparison. THey were also so down to earth and easy to talk to.
I'm paying 4,500 for the basic package. . . parent albumns aren't included, but FH's parents don't want one.
I think their work is totally worth the money. I don't blame them either for not wanting people to copy their pictures, they work very hard at what they do.

Parent albums are extra, but you can add them to your contract when you book them, or add them when you're done. I thought their prices for parent albums were pretty reasonable. We figured we'd let our parents pick what they want when the wedding is over and get them then...
