VERDI'S in Westbury.....

I went to a communion party there last night. It was like a wedding. The place is so pretty and makes for nice pictures. The main thing i wanted to review was the food......IT WAS AMAZING!!!!! OMG I couldnt stop eating. Good thing they were very close friends, like family, because anyone else would have thought ' damn that girl is greedy. Why does she keep going back for more food'. They had it buffet style which made it great for me. I had pasta, chicken, sliced pork, ribs, salmon and yellow rice and a little lettuce so i could stay health

The only thing i could say i did not enjoy was the cocktail hour. It was a sit down cocktail hour and the waiters brought trays of food over to us. We barley got anything to eat because they only had 2 waiters working the entire room and they were very slow. I would definetly say question that with your BM but other than that.......

my biggest concern is the CH room... but there's nothing we can do about it.

Not sure what the name of the room is but its the first one when you walk in the front door and the cocktail hour was in the next room on the left right before the steps. I would just make sure they provide enough food for the cocktail hour and that its on time. The cocktail hour was suppose to start at 7 and the food didnt start coming out until about 7:30. We were all starving by then and taking 2 and 3 things off the tray at the same time.

um.. .what water? there's a small waterfall and a small gazebo. and we can't really take pictures by either (maybe the gazebo)

and as for the room- we're in the first one on the left (the biggest room) but our CH is downstairs... I'm hoping we can talk them into letting us do it in the other room upstairs.
