its time for FH and I to get new phones, what should we get? what phones do u recommend? I want one with the internet and some sort of keypad...fh doesnt really care but wants something cool

I have the EnV but am upgrading to the Dare.... LOVE the Dare my brother has it...and I toy around with it.. lol
I tend to stay away from the motorola cause they don't get the same service as the rest of them....IMO

i have a pink blackberry pearl....love it! i have had other phones and u really do need a blackberry or pda phone to access most sites. i surf liweddings on mine all the time, and can also post from there. i love having internet access, and email 24/7. i would never switch back to a non-blackberry again.

it really depends on the phone. with the bberry i cantread and post on LIW, but when I had the Dash (tmobile) which is also a smartphone, I could read, but couldnt reply to posts...dont know why.

just got the Voyager its really great. I had a friend with an Iphone say it was better than hers. IDK the best part is you can watch TV on it.!!

I also have Verizon and a BlackBerry. It really does become a CrackBerry. It's usually how I post on LIW during the day from work I have the Pearl and I have had some technical difficulties with it as they pointed out sometimes happens with them. Right before the wedding my trackball wouldn't work and as of right now it chooses when it wants to let me see missed calls and automatically deletes my recently called list and text messages. It sometimes wont give me my incoming text messages. I've complained about it and they are willing to send me a new Pearl or another 2 year upgrade with a price differential fee to any other comparable PDA/Smartphone. I didn't change it at the time because I really wanted to research all the other PDAs. Otherwise the switch from regular phones to a BlackBerry has been so much more convenient-especially as I was wedding planning.

I'm getting my new phone next week and my top choices are the Palm Centro Smartphone, Blackberry World Edition, and Motorola Q9c. FH is doing the research for me. He's so much smarter about this stuff than I am.

I like the curve because it has a full keyboard. The pearl has 2 letters on each button. I guess u get use to it, but its just not my preference.
I will tell you though that my curve has koncked out twice. It gets this error message and the phone is completely unusable. You either have to reinstall the software which I did the first time and the error message came back within 2 weeks, or u get a new phone which is free for the 1st year because of the warranty.
I only know one other person that this has happened to, so you just have to make sure you back up your phone so u dont lose everything.
Oh, another gr8 feature which most smart phones have is that u can sync it with outlook. So all your contacts, appointments, tasks etc. will be the same between your bb & computer.
