do you girls have any good/bad things to say about either? i have verizon and i have no problems.. thinking of switching to att but i'm not sure...

I had verizon and wish I didn't switch over to another company because I have problems with my phone now (landline not cell). I had AT& T a while ago and had problems...this is personal but I also don't like them for political reasons...FM me if you are curious but I don't want to offend anyone by writing it here !!!!

ive had verizone forever.....switched to another carrier about 2 years ago(wanted the sidekick) and could not wait to switch back...i would never get rid of verizon

I have Verizon for personal use, I love it except we have no cell service in our apartment.
Att/Cingular - have it for work and it is amazing. I talk to people from the UK in the back of my apartment and it is like they are right next to me. And my work cell is an original Razor.
I think both are great.

I had verizon for years and was hesitant to switch but FH and I got iPhones so now we have att. I have had an excellent time with att for the short months we've had it. So far my only complaint is that we live in the basement and sometimes reception down here is not so great. I never noticed that problem with verizon. Overall I am really happy with the switch. So good luck!

in the tri-state area, verizon has the btter service bar none!!! out of here, new england, down south out west especially at&t is better. i have at&t and while i dont hate it, it's very fickle in certain areas

i've had verizon for years and love it! never had any problems. DH had cingular and hated it, so now we're on a family plan and he's loving the service. he keeps talking about wanting to go back to att so he can get an iphone, but i don't think it's worth sacrificing great phone service for a phone that will be updated again in 6 months.

I've had Verizon for 8 years and will never switch. My parents have had them for over 10. I made FH switch from Sprint to Verizon a few years ago.

I have Verizon and would swear by the service!!!! They just signed contracts to put up even more cells around the island! Pretty soon there will be NO DEAD zones!!!!!

I have Verizon and I would NEVER switch service. Its great and I've never had a problem. Their customer service is good too

I have Verizon and have never had a problem! FH has AT&T and he doesn't have reception in some places that I do.
I'd stick with Verizon if I were you! HTH!

I dont have either so im not really any help. But everyone i know with Verizon loves it. Although i must say i do love love love my iPhone. Ive had ALOT of phones and this is alot of fun. So if your in it for a certain type of phone go with the company that has the one you like, if you want better service i believe verizon has the best on the island.

We had verizon and got rid of it about 2 years ago, and got at&t.. both services were honestly good, but verizon has the worst phones EVER! thats why we switched, and now I have my iphone and couldn't be happier haha

that's so funny you said that about the verizon phones. that was DH's biggest problem w/ switching to verizon - he hated the phones!! he waited until the venus came out to switch, to be sure he'd like at least one phone, and luckily enough, he did. we both have one now (very cheesy, i know )

i had verizon when i was on my parents plan years ago and i hated the phones as well. and my parents and brother/sisters are on it but they go through phones like it's their job...and not bec they break them but because they have malfunctions etc.
I went to cingular/att when i got off theirs...and i liked it at times...the service was hard to get in certain areas but i liked their phones. plus fh dad got me a good plan since he used to cell cingular phones.
now i am on tmobile and i love it. i switched bec of the my 5 deal and i have the lowest plan possible bec i never use my minutes and i dont pay a crap load every month for my bill. and the service is pretty good i never have a problem. and i like their phones!!

This is who i use, T-Mobile and i have never had any problems... except they dont have the iPhone... but my brother solved that problem for me...

I have Verizon. It's the only company that gets service on (parts of) the North Shore and some places in Manhattan. I'd love to switch to AT&T to get an IPhone, but I can't be without service!
