talk to me. i swore i would never get one but i think i can use it for work.

Re: Verizon/Blackberry girls?
I have the individual plan, me and FH haven't combined our plans yet (he doesn't have a blackberry), but the only thing you need is the $30 data plan added to your plan that you have now.
For me it wasn't that bad, because I already had the $15 data plan on my old phone, so I was only adding an extra $15 to my bill
Once I made the change to the blackberry, I wondered how I survived without it, I absolutely love it

i have the curve and love it!!!!
my friend gave me his storm (which is all touch screen) and i set that up, I used it for less than a day and I hated it, the screen would freeze alot and I couldn't take it, so I had to switch it asap

Re: Verizon/Blackberry girls?
Since I do PR for Motorola, I have to recommend their new phone. It's coming out this week -- Nov 6. It's called the Droid and is getting really good reviews. It's based on the google android platform -- so makes it more flexible and easier to use than Windows, Blackberry etc.
FH and I just got the new Blackberry Tour and we love it!!! I have a Curve for work and it works great too but the Tour has a few features that are better IMO. We have the family plan with 2 Blackberry's and a regular phone (for mom) with unlimited texting and we pay a little less than $200 a month. Before that we all had individual plans with regular phones (not blackberry's) and we paid close to $300 so it was worth it for us.
Also I don't know if it's still going on but when we got them it was BOGO so we got 2 Blackberry's for $200 and we got back a $150 gift card

I have the pink Curve and love it! Me and FH have separate plans because they told us we're better off that way. It's an extra $30 to add the internet. I believe my bill comes out to just under $80/month.

Re: Verizon/Blackberry girls?
I have the pink curve....a lot of people told me not to get the storm. FH is on my plan. Before I got the blackberry, our monthly bill was about $90 (with taxes and all that), I think that was for 650 minutes, around there at least. Now that I added the blackberry, I had to add $30/month.

Re: Verizon/Blackberry girls?
FH and I are under the verizon family plan and both have the new BB Tour. If you can get that one, do it!!! The Tour is waaay better than the curve. The family plans are really easy and its totally fine that FH doesnt have a BB. You can share minutes and then you have to get the data plan for your phone. You should probably get the unlimited plan for $29 a month.
FH is in charge of the verizon stuff, but if you have any specific questions let me know and I can ask him.

FH and I have a family plan and I have a crackberry. I LOVE IT!! It is an extra $30/month... if he had one too it would be an extra $30 for him also. They charge more for the internet, and it can't be shared. I use it all the time and when FH wants to look something up he just uses it.
IMO unless it is for work you both dont need them.
I LOVE MINE!!! GET iT!!!

Re: Verizon/Blackberry girls?
I have the pink curve too. LOOOOOOOOVE my crackberry!!
I am actually still on a fam plan with my parents & sister (and yes, I am 25 years old lol). When I got the BB, I told the guys at Verizon to take me off & put me on my own plan but he said it's cheaper to just add the data package ($30) to the existing plan. So, now I just pay my dad every month...it only comes to $55 with the data plan & taxes & everything. If I would've gotten my own plan, it would've been like 80 or 90

Re: Verizon/Blackberry girls?
I have a pink curve as well!
It's great. I had one random problem, and it's under warranty for 1 year so I got a new one.
The Facebook feature is great and make sure they set it up so your texts go to their own icon. Also BBM is amazing.
PS - I pay like $85/month but I have a small discount from work. I don't think I have unlimited text messages but I think I need to now that my MOH, mom and other b-maid are on AT&T!
