Ever get into a project and realize your way over your head? Im decorating these gable boxes that I'll be using for the favors. I wrapped a black ribbon around the box and then a thinner burgandy ribbon in the center of the black ribbon. All this using hot glue and cutting each ribbon individually. After 2 long hours and only 12 boxes done, I've realized this is just too much. At the rate Im going I'll be making boxes as Im slipping into my wedding dress! All I know is that these people better appreciate all my hard work!

I know how you feel. My petal cones with the seal and ribbon made me want to bang my head against the wall. I think it took over 30 hours to complete that project
Girl, they will appriciate every bit..everything we did took us hours..bow tying, gable box preparation but its all worth it cause people really do notice and talk about all the little things..they will say wow, i've seen touches of Diva all around here..keep up the good work and if you need help i'm here fo ya

No pics yet. I'll take some tonight. I just hope they'll be done in time. There is no way Im trusting FH to do this. Can you imagine him with a hot glue gun?

What if you put the burgundy ribbon on the black ribbon and glue it in sporadic spots. then it will be like you have one ribbon. then cut it to size. will that be easier? Am I making sense?

You're welcome. I think that working witht he ribbon on the table and making it one ribbon will be much easier than trying to glue the red to the black once it's on the box.

Great idea!! But I still like thinking of her FH with ribbons and favor boxes
