Very fustraited

Just went I thought I had all of my vendors set I want to get rid of my ceremony musicians. I dont know what to do right now Im so fustraited, and overwhelmed by everything right now. My mother had found musicians for my ceramony through a friend of a friend kind of thing. We had been communicating via email for the past 2 months regarding the music selections I wanted. I explained the type of songs that I wanted right off the bat and she said it would take some research but it could be done. NOw two months later she is telling me that the music is only made for piano and would have to be transcribed for strings. So i tell ehr thats ok, my mother was willing to pay a little extra to have this done so I could have the music. Then she asked me for the specific songs and now all of the sudden she either doesnt want to or is not able to (Im really not sure which) do this in a manner that she feels would work. So she reccomended that I have a keyboardist... ok I am a child of the 80's and to me keyboards are very chincy and cheesy, so this threw me quite a bit. I explained that I was not keen on this idea so it was reccomended by her to have a keyboard accompanyed by the strings. Since I am still not sure about how this would sounds I asked if I could hear some kind of demo of one versus the other. I thought this was reasonable.... apparently she did not. She told me no and to go ask my band!!! I DONT HAVE A BAND! Im using a dj, but she didnt care enough to even ask that!
Im so angry by what is goign on with all of this right now. And I dont have time to start looking for another vendor. I work full time, im going to grad school and im takign summer classes , and the wedding is in 2 months. Im at my witts end. I really dont know what to do about this anymore

I'm sorry you're dealing with this - but what kind of music would you like played?

MJDOC12 had a fabulous group of musicians for her ceremony and they played great contemporary music.
