or does anyone plan on NOT inviting someone that they have already sent a STD to, do to a numbers problem with catering hall or just for persoanl reasons. If so how did you handle the situation---did you call the people and explain or just not send an invitation and left it at that???????

Sounds like a tough situation. If you got in a fight with someone, they might kinda have an idea that they aren't coming.

Re: Very Important...........Has anyone
It wasnt a fight but circumstances have changed and I just dont know if it is tacky to do this or just poor etiquette and I am trying to get as many opinions on the situation as possible. It would be a few people that I would proabably never see again. (Around 5 to 6 couples)

we did not have an engagment party and I need to decide so that I can make sure they are not invited to the bridal shower either. We have recieved no gifts from any of them at all.

Honestly - I think it is tacky. I am in the same boat - there is an acquaintance who I sent an STD to and haven't seen her or spoken to her in MONTHS - now I have to invite her and the guy she's dating!! I really dont want to but I really feel it's not a choice! What my mom said - and what I am hoping - is that if she doesn't feel close to me either - maybe she'll decline and want to save herself some money!!

I agree. Invite them and hope they'll decline!

I think it would be rude not to invite them, if you sent them a STD card. Sorry - JMO

I agree. If you sent them an STD, then you have to invite them.

I would invite them. You've already asked them to save the date - what if they did and then didn't get an invite?
