Very Important....PLEASE READ

Hey ladies just figured i would pass this along, fortunoff is most likely going to file chapter 11 bankruptcy. if you were thinking about doing your registry with them i would hold off. Check the link below.

no problem. just figured i would let you all know before placing all your registrys and what not. according to another liw bride, her friend spoke to someone and its true.

I wouldn't be so quick to believe what someone typed on craigslist. If I posted on this website that getting married on Long Island would no longer be legal...would you believe it?

If this were true, filing chapter 11 doesn't mean they are shutting their doors anytime soon, if at all. Of course I have no idea if this is true or not. I would just be a little bit more cautious than to believe what random people post on craigslist. We are registered there and not worried in the slightest.

Exactly, please don't worry ladies. Register away is right. Chapter 11 does not mean a business is closing at all. It just means they're filing for bankruptcy protection from their creditors. This happens all the time in business and the companies go on to build healthy futures. This just gives them some breathing room. So, even if this is all true, there's no need for anyone to panic about their registries.
