very productive day! i'm sooo excited!

So it might not seem like a lot to some of you ladies but i had such a productive day that i just have to share it with someone!

First of all... I'M OFFICIALLY GETTING MARRIED!!
lol my fiance and i have been engaged since New Years Eve but my Parish was giving me a hard time about getting married in the church. So tonight we met with the priest from my FH's church and he agreed to marry us with no problem and set the date officially.
It's such a relief b/c we'd already booked our hall and everything so if the church fell through i dont know what we would have done.
It's so exciting to know i'm actually gonna be married at the end of the day.

Also... my best friend had to drop out of my bridal party due to health reasons and she wasnt going to come either (she liives in TN and can't really travel) Well today she called and said her and her mom discussed her coming and they think they can make it for the wedding as guests for the day!!!
I'M SOO EXCITED!! I was so bummed about her not coming.

And last but not least... my MOH is taking a half day off work on friday so we can try to find me a gown. I'm cutting it close and i know i've already eliminated certain designers by waiting this long.
I called around and found out that one of the places can get the gown i love for a rediculously cheap price. This excites me to no end. Now to see if other people think it looks as nice on me as i do.

I finally feel like things are coming together. I'm so happy and relieved that i can stop worrying about the ceremony issue.

thanks! i'll definately be posting either friday night or early saturday.
i have a few dresses i already tried on that i want to show people but i'm waiting till i've got the final few narrowed down.

that's good to know since out of the gowns i've tried the one i love is a Maggie. Well technically it's a Midgley.
I was told i should have ordered it 10 months out, no later.

depends on where u order it from, but they told me that they make them so that they come in 4 months before the wedding

I can't believe how many differant answers i get to the same question you know?
i've heard the four months thing as well.
thanks for telling me. it seriously helps me feel a lot better and i'm not worrying at all now.

this is the first time since we started planning the wedding that i feel even slightly productive. i havent gotten anything finished yet.

FMIL still won't give us the finished guest list with addresses!
