My sister moved to NC. She has many friends... they text her all the time... when she's here. I made a post the other day about how I'm sad and I dont want to share her while we're on vacation (I'm very close to her... I'm also not afraid to say I'm a very jealous person). I dont expect her not to have friends I just dont want to know about them. I know thats selfish and immature. I shared my feelings about the trip being just for us and she seemed really pissed.

Honestly, telling her was the righ tmove. But you also have to put yourself in her position. She moved to place where no-body knew her & made friends which i know you know is excellent & its so hard not having your sister here ( i can totally understand im with my sisters all the time we are inseperable. So i couldnt imagine not having them here). I think the trip will turn out fine & super fun. She wont even have time to talk to the other girls while in Disney. But if she does you will have to learn to share. She is making a life of her own & while it stinks as a sister you have to let her have this. I know you miss her to death but she is laways your sister & you willalways share a bond no friend will ever have!!! Remember that!

I think its actually ok for Angela not to want to share her sister while she's home. Granted, it might seem selfish and immature but I know the relationship the two of them have. Having her sister so far away must be killing her so I think when her sister comes up or they go on vacation she should pay more attention to Angela. Yes, they'll always be closer than any friendship but I can completely see Angela's point and I would be sad too. Hopefully, Angela your sister comes around and sees that she doesn't get to spend as much time with you anymore so she'll want to cherish the time she does have!

I can totally see her point & having two sister s myself i totally sympathize. I also think asking for that time with her sister was absoultely warranted i was just trying to make herfeel better about the situation. I mean i wouldnt want to fight over it. If it ends up that the girls are calling while they are away. But hopefully if the friends are smart they will say hey shes on vaca with her sis lets give her phone a rest! HOPEFULLY!

Awww sweetie!!! At least you let her know, I def think that was the right move. Hopefully when you get to Disney she'll realize how you feel about this and deceide to make it a vacation just about you two girls!! Don't get yourself all upset about it, just wait to see how it goes. If she keeps whipping out her phone again, just tell her that you really want some 'sister' time...or ask her for at least ONE day where she doesn't keep in touch with the other friends...

Angela, I have a younger sister and I wish to god that her and I were as close as you and your sister are. I am so sorry she isupset but i know that within the next day or two, because of how close you guys are, she will see how important she is to youand just, realize.

I wish..that just for one day, my sister and I were that close. I actually stillpray for it every night... you know, she didnt even give me a congratulations card for my engagement? Made me upset but, thats just life...

In your case... you are lucky... and I could only imagine how much it hurts to want her back, because I know what it feels like to want even an ounce of that.

So, you are allowed to be upset. And you are allowed to be insecure about this whole situation. But I am telling you, there is no way that she will stay upset. Sisters that close...i dont think anything can come between that...
