VERY SAD and TRAGIC Story (Re:An Infant) *Sensitive Story*

I know this type of news may be hard for some to read, especially the preggos or new moms.
Well this type of news is VERY HARD for ANYONE to hear no matter who you are....

I just heard about the tragic death of a 9m old infant. My cousins nephew on her hubby's side of the family.

His grandmother left her pill bottle open/unlocked...and he may have swallowed a pill... He died in the ER. I dont know full details, but that was enough to crush my heart for this poor poor family...
In addition to this devastating loss, CPS has temporarily taken her other children from the mommy for further investigating !!! I cant imagine the sadness, heartbreak and complete trauma for this family...

Someone just told me they heard this on the news also. Would anyone know what website I can check?

Please send prayers and hugs to this angel in heaven.

I read about this too! I feel so bad for that baby. I had read that the mother knew or found out he had eat a piece and since he didn't seem sick just let it go- not realizing that it was a time release pill. It is so sad.

Anna this is so sad. It's made even worse by the fact that they took the other children away. How awful.

That is HORRIBLE. I pray for him and the rest of his family.

Makes me think about going through my house again and making sure there is nothing for Emma to get into.

Thanks for that link.
Do you know what page in Newsday? I'll be home tomorrow and can look through my old papers from this week.

Thanks

I am so sorry Anna I know it was towards the front because I read it in Sustained Silent reading and that is only 10 minutes long. I feel so awful about the situation.

That is so tragic but why on earth wouldn't you look up info on the drug he took? Then she would have known it was time-release.

to the family
