very sad news

very sad news

My grandmother passed away Wednesday afternoon. She had been sick for a while and had taken a turn for the worse in the last couple of weeks.

We got to see her Tuesday- I'm really glad we went over.

I'm sad she wont be able to attend my wedding - it would have been her first grandchild to get married.

I am thinking about doing a memorial table for all of our grandparents. I was going to do a seat or something just for her as a memorial because the others passed years ago, but i think it is important to honor them all.

She lived a great life, and 88 years isn't too shabby!

Thanks for listening- I just had to type it somewhere because i didnt want to post on facebook in any detail.

Im so sorry! I know what your going throuh. My grandfather passed away back in January. Its a very hard thing to go through. Just remember, shes in a better place now and she WILL be with you on your special day!

So sorry for you loss :( I think a memorial table would be such an amazing thing, and really really sweet too. I love that idea

I think doing something at your wedding in her honor is a great idea! I am doing a few things in honor of my dad!

So sorry to hear about about your loss. I think a memorial table is a great idea. We are also honoring our grandmothers and my FH mother with memorial candels at our ceremony.

very sorry for your loss.
a memorial table is a great idea, we are planning on doing that. i am going to order some memorial candles on etsy and put out pictures, etc.

so sorry for your loss. Just remember, now she's going to have the best seat in the house at your wedding. The memorial table is a great idea. We are doing on as well. I'm etching their names on a candle holder and we are going to have rose petals around it.

So sorry for your loss. We lost my grandfather in April and I know the feeling of wishing he was there for the wedding...

I'm so sorry for your loss. I think a memorial table would be a nice idea. I plan on doing something in honor of all of my grandparents too. We may do a donation in honor of them as our favor since my Grandfather died of lung cancer and my Grandma died of heart disease/ Alzheimers. So we are thinking of doing the donation to one or both organizations.

So sorry for your loss its a tough thing to loose someone you love! Keep your head up & the memorial will be a beautiiful way to honor her, i am sure she will be smiling down!
