I'm cleaning right now listening to Prince... and 'I Would Die 4 U' comes on and i'm like WOW that would be an awesome song!!!! But there's no real way to dance to it

I picked a very different song for my wedding. A lot of people have never even heard of Dr. Hook. But we had Dr. Hook, Years From Now as our wedding song. Everyone loved the words and all afterward and said they had never heard of the song or group before. If you like it and your FH agrees on it, go for it. See, if maybe your DJ or band can find a slower version. I am sure they could work it for you so it is danceable!!!

When we told my FH's parents what song we chose they said we couldn't dance to that song it was too fast. But we have before. We have chosen So Far Away, by Staind. But it's our song it means something to us ya know
use whatever you want, and if not the first dance then have the DJ clear the floor for you one more time maybe after cake to dance again, who is into conventional anymore anyhow?
