very unhappy with my dj

I know it's too late - but what would u do write an email? The DJ messed up my first dance song - he didn' t have it ready and started playing something else - MOH had to run over and tell him to change the song. Someone posted a video on fb and I cringe everytime I see it - he was playing the song for like 2 min it was not just a quick thing. he also played rod stewart which was on my don't play list. And my photog didn't get any shots of my dad kissing me on the cheek which i'm disappointed about

I'm sorry! I can understand why you would feel disappointed. I think you should definitely know that you were upset about those things, I am not sure what they will do about it though, except fear that you will give them poor reviews. But I would still let them know that I was not 100% happy with their service - JMO

I have no idea what I would put in that email but I just wanted to say I'm sorry that your DJ effed up your first dance.

I would absolutely say something. Honetly I'd probably make a HUGE deal out of it and complain and make a pest out of myself until they gave me some money back

I would definitely call and be a biatch and totally make them aware of it. The first dance song is ONE song they should be able to get right!!!! It scares the crap outta me that so many DJ's mess this up! How hard is it??

I also find it hard to believe he couldn't resist the urge to play Rod Stewart...its not like 100 guests were requesting it or anything...and you asked it not to be played.

Do you want money back?? An apology?? Just to vent?? Decide what you want before you call...then tell him you are active on a popular wedding site and will not recommend his services to anyone unless he makes it right.

I would just write a review so other people know. I am pretty sure all they are going to do is keep telling you how sorry they are and alot of times they really don't mean it.

I'm so sorry you had to go through that. I would be really mad too.

ITA -- first decide what you want the outcome to be and then call. I would absolutely say something. Referrals are a big part of how they retain clients. And you will not be referring their services right now.

If your DJ was recommended to you by your RH I'd let them know you were not happy as well. Can't hurt.

without a doubt! I would b itch and complain until I got some money back or something. I would also let it be knows you plan on giving them poor reviews if they do NOT make up for their mistakes!
