very upset

my mom lives in a two family house with my fsil. there have been so many problems between them and my mom told the landlord that she wants them out, so the landlord is going this wednesday to have them evicted. now, my mom LOVES trouble and she is going with her to court to tell them eveything that goes on.

my mother has never cared about me,you would think she would stop and think about what this would do to me. all she cares about is kissing her landlords as*. this is going to cause BIG problems in the family. my fsil isn't even that bad, and my mom has done this with two other people who lived downstairs from her. you would think this being my fh sister, she would be nice, but no. now i am very upset and if my mom does this to me, i will not talk to her and maybe wont even have her at my wedding, and you know what, she probably wont even care.

I wish I had some advice, but other then talking with your mom I have none.

I'm sorry to hear your Mom is doing this. Her selfishness is going to get her nowhere, especially someday if this FSIL has children w/your brother. The damage will not be so easily undone

Did you say something to her? I would tell her. Remind her that this is your soon to be family and tell her all the problems she will probably cause. Ask her is is worth it to risk yours and her relationship?? I am really sorry!! Does your FSIL have a clue about whats going to happen? Maybe you should give her a heads up and an opportunity to speak to the landlord before he goes to court!!
