****very upset*****
I know it is not wedding relatedbut i am so depressed
. i have my dog for 15 years
and she had a stoke thrusday .
we took her to the vet and she has been there since . she tore all the ligaments in her back legs and she cant walk so we may have to put her to sleep.
i love that dog so much -but i know i cant make her suffer like this
it's just so sad to see her go . she has been with us for so long.
i can't stop crying this is so dperessing .
its crazy how you get soooo attached to pet - i feel like she is my sister

Re: ****very upset*****
I know..........it is one of the worst things to go thru..it really is...I couldnt go to the vet when they put my dog to sleep, I had my last moments w/ him at home.......its is sooooo Horrible---but they know that its their time to go, and they also know how much you had loved them their whole life---just give him or her a million kisses and just let him go...you have to--you have no choice other than to have him suffer--and you do not want to do that!!!!
It will be OK.....

I am so sorry that you have to experience this. Losing a cherished pet is so so so hard. Good luck during this time.

I am so sorry!!! I completely understand where you're coming from. I have an unnatural attachment to my 2 kitties and to animals in general. Many thoughts and prayers coming your way.

Re: ****very upset*****
I found out at work that we may have to put her to sleep so of course i was upset at work and some people were like'oh my god its a dog' whats wrong with her..people just dont understand how hard it is.
my dog's names is sheaba
from the day i brought her home she slept in my room by my bed and when i woke up every morning she was right there and i would trip over her.
NOONE was allowed near she was very very overprotective of me - she just started letting my fi hug me lol..
i know it is the best thing to let her go and i would be very selfish to let her stay like this but i am going to miss her so much
my fi and i went to see her at the vet and it was horrible he had to leave the room he was hysterical.
but i know i have to do what is best for her- it is just so damn hard to let go of her- i serioulsy feel like im going to have a nervous BREAKDOWN.

I'm sorry to hear that. I love animals also and hate to hear when they are hurt. They do truly become members of the family

Re: ****very upset*****
Poor thing.... I just put my dog to sleep a few months back. I was distraught. You would have thought I just lost my brother! Time passes and heals all wounds. The one thing you want to remember, is that you don't want your pet to suffer just to have them there. They'll be in a better place when they pass and they don't have to feel pain anymore. It's a very gentle process where it's quick and painless. I couldn't go either. I had to send my Mom.

Honey, I'm so sorry. There are no right words. My heart aches with yours now. I lost a doggie too once. It hurts. Much love and comfort to you sweetheart.

I'm so sorry to hear about Sheaba. We had to put my FH's 18-year-old beagle about five years ago because she blew out the ligaments in her hind legs. It was one of the most difficult things we ever had to do.
