very upset

i am so uupset and havent stopped crying all day. last night me and fh sat down to discuss more of the wedding planning and i figured out that we are going to be short on money. we would never make it with what we put deposits down on and everything. we even cut out the 'extras' that we wanted. this really *****. after all this planning and finally being able to say that im getting married i have to change it. fh said to be on the safe side he doesnt want to get married till november of 2007 now. i agree that we should make sure that we have enough money but my heart feels broken...i just wish this didnt happen. i want to win the lotto now i feel like i have to say goodby to you girls and go over to the 07 board. i hope you dont mind if i can still stay over here.....maybe things can turn around...i just dont know anymore.

omg, I'm so sorry you are going through this. You can cut back or wait a little bit to have the wedding of your dreams. We'll aways be here for you!

I'm so sorry you're going through this. Is there any possible way you can cut down on spending now or possibly get a second job so that you can still get married as planned? Regardless of what happens, you are ALWAYS welcome here!!

Of course you can stay on the 06 board and chat with us, no matter what year you're getting married. Don't be silly, we would never let you go that easily!!!

So sorry you're having $$ issues, I hear that. Sure you can't get a part-time job just to pick up some extra cash or something?? No matter what you 2 decide, we'll always be here for you!!!!! Remember, the wedding isn't the important part, you'll still have a lifetime of happiness in marriage. I know it really stinks, but try to keep things in perspective.

Same thing happened to me. At first I was sad but now I know I don't have to deprieve myself of anything.

And I still crash the 06 board

well i applied to a few part time jobs that i could work at.....i told fh that even if i have to work 24 hours a day i would....and thanks for making me feel so welcome here girls....you guys are great.

I'm so sorry to hear this Kim. Is there something else you can possibly do? Maybe cut back on certain things or get a second job? I know it's not easy, but look how fast '06 is coming up, we'll all be screaming and you'll be planning away!

And of course you can stay on the '06 board all you like!

I am sorry thisis happening to you. I wish that it didnt have to be that way for you. Once an 06er, ALWAYS an 06er (even in 07). Besides, there would be no 07 without an 06 BEFORE it. OK that was stupid but I know it made you laugh. Nobody ever said I was GOOD with the jokes.

but try to look on the bright side:

1. more time to spend on LIW- lol
2. your still getting married
3. more time to save for all the things you want
4. still have money after the wedding

it seems like the end of world now- but it will be ok

You still say with us dont be silly! I am sorry honey but better to wait and have all that you want everything will work out - you still have each other and you sill have us! You will always be an 06er to me

Wow that really *****! I know you must be feeling really deprived right now. However, if you are able to score a part time job - and you are currently getting by financially - you should be able to save whatever you make at the 2nd job. Every little bit helps when it comes to weddings. Have anything around the house you can sell on ebay? Oh, and don't forget possible tax returns. Hang in there and keep the big picture in mind!!

Could you maybe have a smaller wedding, or is it important for you to have the big shin dig? If you really want the big wedding, then I think it is wise to wait... don't kill yourself working 24 hours a day to pay for the wedding... I know it s u c k s but it will all work out in the end.

I think the girls covered it all...bottom line is that you ARE getting married, it's just a matter of when. And until you decide, and no matter what year it is, you can always hang with us!

Sorry to hear about this! But just think of the impt thing here is you & him can save more $$$$$ and spend more time getting the things you truly want for the wedding. CHEER UP!!!!!!!! Things would work out better if you saved...TRust me i went through it. Thats why we couldnt get married this oct 05. We have been eng since may 04, butit gave us the time and we were able to get everything in order according to how we wanted it.

I agree! That is exactly how I feel but I would never have been able to say it so well.

OH HON,

DON'T BE UPSET. I KNOW IT LOOKS TERRIBLE NOW BUT MAYBE IT IS BEST TO PUSH IT BACK IF THINGS ARE TIGHT. TAKE YOUR TIME AND SAVE. THIS WILL ALSO HELP AND YOU WON'T BE SO STRESSED NOW THAT YOU HAVE MORE TIME.
