very upset, feel like crying

i just found out 2 days ago that a vendor i had booked for my wedding had another wedding booked for that day. Now I have to use one of his other guys, a person that i have never met before. To top it off, in the middle of talking to him and about to write how upset i am, he signs off the computer. I am very upset that he did not tell me he was not going to be there and i find out with 2 weeks until my wedding. I had changed my date from october 2005 to march 2006 and when i told him he never said that he had another wedding booked that day. ughhhhhhhhhh

I would be upset, too....I am so sorry!

However, take it from someone who just got married and was insane about all the details -- the only thing that will stand out in your mind is marrying the man of your dreams.....trust me......

That really stinks, I'm so sorry, esp since you already pushed your wedding back once. But I'm sure you're going to have a wonderful day no matter what. Michele is right, the most important thing is that you and FH will be spending the rest of your lives together!!

Yes I do, but it doesnt say that he is the one that would be there that day. I didnt even know that there was anyone else so I didnt think it was going to be a problem

Just keep in mind that the person providing services for you is a representation of the company. I'm sure that the original person would not send someone that's not as good. Keep your chin up, I'm sure everything will be just as grand.

ETA: Maybe you can call this vendor and find out more about the person who will be providing the services on your day ....... and maybe set up a time to meet with that person specifically. This will ease your mind. I'm sure this will all work out perfectly.

Very True!!! I had a major problem the morning of my wedding with a vendor that was a no show with not so much as a phone call, which affected the entire time line of the day in a major way, but after I had a mild breakdown in the morning...nothing else was on my mind other than marrying DH and having a great time at my wedding!

Why isn't he switching with the other bride? Why are you the short handed one? I would ask him.

You are absolutely right. This guy has great reviews on this site and I trust him 100%. I just talked to him and he reassured me about everything.

Thank you everyone for the hugs and support. with 10 days left i am a complete mess of stress and anxiety and i am so happy to have you girls to help me.

If you have the time, I would setup a time to meet with the person who is going to be at your wedding. However , if you don't have the time don't sweat it. As said above, he is a representative of this company and I am sure he must be good!
