FH is stationed in Japan but he is going to Iraq in March. Well because of him going he needs to train on a new weapon. WELL the training is here in the US...in HAWAII!!!!!!
SO he arrived to Honolulu today early in the morning but they are 5 hours behind us so its only 11am there. But anyway he gets there and they say that the training already occured it was only 3 hours long not 3 days long. So they are making another course for them to take on Mon that will only last the day.
SO therefore this weekend they have off to do whatever as well as tues wed and thur since htey dont leave until thur night.
SO JEALOUS!!!! He is going to Maui and Ohau this weekend.

haha yeah i know he does definitely deserve it no doubt about that...
just so jealous i wish i could be there with him but he is coming home for 2 weeks in 17 days!!!!!!!!!!!

yes thankfully....well i think he wants to stay in the reserves because once a marine always a marine to him! so i think yes done but not with the marine corps in general

One of my friends from college (who is now married to one of my bm's) is an army doctor and he is stationed in Hawaii for 6 years! So now my two friends wake up everyday in tropical paradise. They have been there 1 1/2 years already and I haven't gotten to visit yet b/c of the wedding planning and all, but hopefully in 2009 I'll actually get out to Hawaii.
Bummer that you missed getting to meet him there, but at least he got a few days to enjoy himself. Those guys sure deserve it!!!!
