Vest colors?

Vest colors?

I'm looking for opinions on vest colors for the dads...

My bridesmaids will be wearing dark navy with champagne accents, the groomsmen will be in champagne vests, and my FH will be in a white vest.

We were going to let my dad, my FFIL, and my stepdad pick out their own vests...all different...but within some guidelines.

What do you think will work as guidelines? We don't want anything crazy, bright, or pastel.

I think I'm leaning toward muted shades of gray, black, and navy...any other opinions? Is navy okay to put in there? I'm not sure I love it as an option under the black tux - but if my dad ended up with it - it could be cool because it works in the navy the girls will be wearing...I know he likes blues. I guess it all depends on the shade of navy.

i say black. here's what we did:

my dress has silver accents (and our colors are red/silver) so:

FH is in silver vest/tie

BMs in red:
GM in red

dads in black.

I think you could also do the vests with a little champagne in them. Umm... like have them wear navy vests with a muted champagne pattern in it for example.
