I wanted to add, your vet will probably best at recommending someone. It's a small community of good vets out there.

I take my Bassett Hound to the Animal Medical Center. You usually will get a different Dr. each time you go-unless you request a specific one-but I have always had a great experience with them. They have late hours which is very convenient-I can always get in. I live on 79th & York-they are on 60th & York-so it is easy for me. Since it is a teaching hospital they are always very thorough.
They are expensive-but it is comparable to what all of the other places charge in the neighborhood-I have researched them all.
