Viana- no hotel shuttle

I called The Viana hotel yesterday in hopes of blocking 10 rooms with a free shuttle. I was quoted $209 and was told there is no shuttle service available. I'm getting married in June so I'm not sure if its just that time of the year or maybe I misunderstood what I read on these boards. I'm thinking I might just have to arrange for my own shuttle for my guests. Anyone have any hotel suggestions?

I was offered a shuttle but My venue is like 5 mins away (might even be less than that I think lol)... I was also quoted less because my wedding is on a Sunday.. Their prices change every year though, so they could have changed their room block rate and their shuttle policy for the new year idk

I was offered a free shuttle if a certain number of rooms are booked at the Viana Hotel. I think the Sand Castle has an agreement with them though since the Viana Hotel is a preferred vendor with them.

They are the preferred Vendor for my venue as well. They didn't mention anything about the number of rooms and as far as I gathered on this board you need to book 8 rooms. Maybe I need to speak to another sales agent. Not having them provide a shuttle in not the end of the world, but I wish they were more upfront.

Yeah maybe clarify with another sales associate there.. They could have just changed their policy though. I remember when I blocked my rooms they said their pricing changed for 2013, so they could have made 2014 changes idk

They only provide the shuttle for certain venues. I used them and had to get my own shuttle and honestly, it was a freaking nightmare the night of. If you can find a hotel that provides the shuttle, I would go with them.
